The US is building some kind of permanent housing on Guantanamo for those Cubans fleeing Raul's tyranny. Hopefully this will be a foothold for freedom on the island and is has Castro's ghost writer crying like an old woman for the regime. The ghost writer is actually complaining that the US wants to give part of the area back to Cubans. Whose side is Raul on? Evidently he is against the US giving some of Cuba back to Cubans if they are free.

All the hurricane projections from the media call for Dean to stay south of Cuba except one. The direction it is heading right now is towards Cuba and it is continuing to slow its forward movement. That is down to 17 MPG. If it stalls, like a spinning top it could wobble there for a while. Raul you better make sure the weather projections are not disinformation from the US government meant to lull you to sleep.

You and your brother could have bought better roads, infrastructure and emergency food and water supplies. While Granma has a big article about Katrina victims of a couple years ago this is all they say about hurricane Dean even though some computer models project it to grow to category 5 and roll directly across the entire island from east to west. Looks like Raul is laying the ground work for his own Katrina times 100.

Raul must really be feeling snakebit. Here comes the biggest hurricane to hit Cuba in this manner since 1851 and no big brother to give the weather report. Plus how do you tell the Cuban people now that Fidel is dead? No...that will have to wait. Dean will effect the entire island so evacuation will not be much help. Where do you go? At the very least most of Cuba should experience tropical storm winds and if the storm drift 100 miles or so to the north those old run down buildings will be hit by a category 4, even a category 5. It appears the hurricane that I have warned you about for the past year is arriving on schedule. Dean may be a historic hurricane for Cuba. The path it is taking is rare and will cause the storm to run parallel to Cuba. A wide swath of Cuba will experience 100 mile per hour winds, perhaps higher than that for some. The southern coast will get a huge storm surge that will cause flooding to occur a great distance inland through the rivers.

Do not depend on the Cuban government to save you. They are having a tough enough time saving themselves. The most important thing to have is water. There will be none available after the storm and once it passes the weather will be burning hot. Each person will need at least a gallon a day maybe more. Next, find a secure location to hunker down and get the hell out of those buildings being held up by sticks. These dwellings will not survive 100 mile per hour plus sustained winds. Low lying areas are death traps.

Once the hurricane passes there may be millions of you left homeless and in need of help. The electric grid will be down perhaps for a very long time. Water and sewer facilities will be non existent. Roads and bridges will be washed out preventing supplies from reaching their destination. Aircraft will be destroyed on the tarmac as well. Medical care will go from the usual terrible service to none at all. Diseases will become a problem with the lack of sanitation complicated by masses of people crammed together. Food supplies will be destroyed as will crops not yet harvested. In short this may be an event of Biblical proportions that will expose the frailty and greedy incompetence of the regime for what it is. Like it or not the US and Cuban exiles may be the only group with enough resources to save you. If even several weeks of condition prevail as were seen in New Orleans after Katrina then thousands of you may die a dreadful death. Perhaps Raul and his gang might get out of the way and let us help. Or do you think he will expect you to just die rather than accepting our help?

Good morning Cuban office workers. First, let me advise you that Fidel, if he is not already dead, is gravely ill and will not be with us much longer. The regime plans on releasing some papers allegedly written by Fidel that will talk about the "empire and the independent island." From the beginning it is important that you know you are being manipulated by the government yet again. It will not be Fidel writing. The purpose of this ghost writer is to fan the flames of fear of America with the winds of nationalistic pride. The ghost writer will talk about Cuba being independent but never during Fidel's reign has Cuba been independent. You fought African and South and Central American wars for the former Soviets. Today Castro gets oil from Venezuela and they get your doctors, nurses and medicine. It is true now, even as Raul cries for economic ties with the US, that you are independent of the US. However you are not independent. You depend on the Cuban government for all of your vital life needs. Sadly, they cannot hope to meet your needs leaving you without the most basic necessities. Being paid fifty cents per day is the equivalent of leaving a one penny tip to the waiter after you have downed a fine restaurant meal. It is an insult! Especially considering the fact that you are banned from your own beaches and other tourist areas. All of this is very depressing.

But there is good news. You are intelligent, educated Cubans and you know what's going on here. Under normal conditions you are very hard working. You are the nicest people on the earth even under these purposely distorted miserable economic conditions. Therefore, under the correct economic condition you will be comfortably well off in a very short time. While there has been nothing revolutionary about the Cuban revolution, while you've been locked away you have been isolated from some incredibly revolutionary technology. With these new tools your life will be transformed. From the first thing in the morning as you enjoy your cafe Cubano from your espresso machine as you check your email arriving from your high speed fiber optic connection to the web, through the day driving your new car to your rewarding high-paying job (probably Japanese or German as the US cars have really gone down hill since you last bought one) until you relax at home at night watching Havana play the New York Yankees on your wide screen high definition TV. And if you don't think Havana will have an expansion team playing in the big leagues then you really are crazy!

But seriously amigos...Raul and the American government are working together to keep you subjugated. Raul does it to keep you desperate and dependent on him. The American government does it because powerful economic interests like Archer Daniel Midland pay American politicians big bucks to keep you poor and blocked from competing against them economically. As soon as we work together against the both of them the sooner you will have a rich and glorious life. So when Fidel dies and the government forces you to the square to pretend to be sad you should all simultaneously begin to hum. Hum the same monotone note.

Hola Cubanos! This message goes out initially to you Cubans with whom Raul has been stupid enough to provide computers then only pays you fifty cents a day. You are my communication network to the other Cubans so please distribute this message for broad dissemination. There is no sense mentioning the raw deal that is your life. What is important is that you know what your alternative is so you can make a rational choice. The choice has always been yours to make - but you all must make the choice simultaneously and that was not possible until now with these new communication methods available to coordinate our efforts for a better future. Here is what we offer:

Primarily, we offer Cuban sovereignty. The vast majority of Cuban exiles do not work with the US government because their interests do not mesh with our interests short of ridding the island of Fidel, Raul and their cronies. We will never tolerate anything but Cuban control of Cuba. However that does not mean we will ever tolerate control of Cuba by any individual Cuban like Raul Castro. Cuban national decisions will be made by all voting age Cubans, neighborhood decisions agreed upon by you and your neighbors, but individual choices that harm no one else left up to the individual to make. Next, as soon as Cuba is rid of the criminal enterprise running the nation into the ground it will then be safe and wise to bring cash into Cuba. We have literally millions upon millions of dollars waiting to flood into Cuba to instantly relieve the stark condition in which you live. Your family members here will come to Cuba in a massive wave of hundreds of thousands of people, each bringing family members vital supplies like medicine and clothing. We know your residences are in bad shape but to correct this, first we must give you a deed of ownership to your property. Only then will it make sense for you to improve your new investment. And to accomplish that improvement, building supplies will be arriving by the boatload with everything from plywood to shingles and nails. Finally, we will implement a free market economic plan that will exempt income and housing from being taxed. To generate revenue for the Cuban treasury a land location value tax will be levied based upon only the location value and not the improvements to the land. Therefore, the highest taxed land will be the central business districts and the lowest would be the residential areas. The farther out from the town center the lower the tax until it drops to zero in the agricultural areas. This will cause capital investment to surge into Cuba and that will create more than enough jobs for Cubans. With high paying jobs, ownership of your residences and little or no tax you will have more than enough wealth to rebuild you homes and your lives. Finally, you will have thousands of Cuban exile family member and friend consultants who know about all of the modern systems of technology that you have been banned from having in Cuba. We will show you how to use these revolutionary devices to make Cuba an efficient economic dynamo! Why? It is because you are our friends and our family. For too long Castro has been able to define us with lies to scare us apart. Now we can tell you what is in our heart directly. We have the best interests of Cuba in our hearts and you have my word on that amigos!

So here is what you all must do and in fact are already well on the way to accomplishing. Stop all work especially in the tourist hotels. Cuba should be self service for tourists until you all are free to use the hotels and beaches instead of being treated like stray dogs and shooed away constantly. Call in sick to work. The block spy who is a little tyrant abusing the neighbors should have his house burned to the ground. The police who abuse Cubans, especially out of racist hatred, should feel the sting of the rock or find their car brake lines cut. In short, figure out ways to cost the regime money while not providing them money from your labor output.
